Installation/Operation guide

 Set up console

1.     Plug AC adapter into the back of the monitor console. Place monitor on night stand or suitable flat surface. Pull antenna out at least 4 inches, more for extended coverage. Plug AC adapter into home outlet.

2. Operation of console

Turn power switch to the on position. Green light will come on. Alert switch has silent or alert positions. In the silent mode, you will get a red light only if the black alarm box is activated (either by door switch or test button on front. In the Alert mode, you will get a red light and a siren output as long as alarm box is activated.

3. Operation of Alarm box

Install magnetic door switch with hardware supplied. Keep magnets within ½ inch of each other when installed to insure contact closure. You can feel when the contacts open and close.

Make sure 2 arrows are pointing at each other.

Locate and install the black alarm box within 3

ft of the door switch (and at least 1 ft below any ceiling) with the hardware supplied. Wire 1 lead of the 2 conductor cable to Com and 1 to NC. The other end of the 2 conductor cable to the side terminals on the black alarm box. Polarity is not needed.

 Fresh batteries have been installed prior to shipping. Pull antenna upward to its fullest length aprox. 7 inches. Pressing the black test button will activate the transmitter and a bright red l.e.d. will show a full battery condition. When l.e.d. no longer shows bright, or the console no longer responds with test button, batteries should be changed.

 Changing batteries.

Remove the 4 phillip type screws on the front lid. Note: the lid only goes back on in one direction. Remove strap across the battery pack. Replace batteries and re-install.
